Curriculum Information

The University of New Orleans has the largest business school in Louisiana, as well as one of the fastest growing executive education programs in the country. Our Master of Health Care Management Program delivers a high-quality, high-value education.

Class Schedules

The MHCM Program consists of 33 credit hours: 11 courses. All students must take the 9 core courses listed below. The balance of 6 credit hours or 2 courses will be taken from approved electives at UNO or LSU Medical Center.

Elective credit will be given to students required to take BA 6014. BA 6014 is required for students with a non-business undergraduate degree who have not had previous course work in accounting and finance.

The MPH course listings are held at LSU Medical Center. LSUMC cross-enrollment should begin at UNO's Graduate School, Administration Building AD-205. Special Note: Once the course is completed at LSUMC, the student must have a copy of LSUMC's transcript sent to UNO's Registrar's Office.

Please note that while the web site provides an excellent overview, you should get the very latest information on graduate programs by reading the Graduate Programs Newsletter or contacting the office. The newsletter is published twice yearly in October and April and is available online as soon as possible after completion. Please confirm you have the most recent edition.

More detailed information is available in newsletters, the UNO catalog, and by contacting the Graduate Programs Office. Information on the website is meant to give background only and current requirements may have changed.
