The program requires 27 hours of accounting courses and 24 hours of business courses. Certificate of Eligibility for CPA Examination Candidacy - There are three options offered to students who wish to meet the 150-hour requirement to take the CPA Examination. These options will lead to a UNO Certificate of Eligibility for CPA Examination Candidacy Internal Auditing Program - The Department of Accounting at the University of New Orleans offers the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) Endorsed Internal Auditing Program. The program is offered at only a few universities in the United States.
