The
UNO Executive Master of Business Administration Degree-Puerto
Rico The University of New Orleans is pleased to offer the first Executive-style MBA program in Puerto Rico. The Executive MBA (EMBA) is a lock-step program specifically designed for working professionals. With courses taught in San Juan by the University of New Orleans' own graduate faculty, the EMBA is the fastest, most efficient way to earn a Master of Business Administration degree. What makes this program so different? Schedule While many graduate programs take 2-4 years to complete, the EMBA program is done in only 17 months. Classes are held on Saturdays and Sundays of every other week, minimizing workplace disruption. The pre-set course schedule allows you to plan well in advance, instead of taking classes one semester at a time. By teaching classes in-person and in English, using our very own University of New Orleans graduate faculty, you will reap the benefits of a fully-accredited U.S. degree, without having to sacrifice your job or travel overseas. As an additional time-saving benefit, there are no business pre-requisite courses required. The foundation material has been blended seamlessly into the EMBA curriculum. So, whether your undergraduate degree is in Engineering or Nursing, you can complete a general MBA degree in 17 months. Services As an EMBA student, we assist you with the admissions and financial aid processes, register you for classes, purchase and prepare your textbooks and materials, and even provide optional evening tutorial sessions for the toughest quantitative courses. Students The professional peer-group structure facilitates networking opportunities among classmates. EMBA students are formed into small work groups, which remain together for the entire program. Members can "trade-off" strengths and weaknesses, facilitating a more interactive and meaningful learning environment. A Focus on Quality With first-rate faculty, services, and convenience, the EMBA program through the University of New Orleans is a smart choice. Our accreditation upholds a standard of excellence, assuring the long-term value of your investment. Accreditation UNO's Executive MBA program has been licensed by the Puerto Rico Council on Higher Education (PRCHE). We are accredited regionally by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS), nationally by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) and internationally by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB International). AACSB International accreditation is the hallmark of excellence in management education and represents the highest standard of achievement for business schools. Institutions that earn accreditation confirm their commitment to quality and continuous improvement through a rigorous and comprehensive peer review. Fewer than 15% of business schools worldwide have reached this level of achievement. Facilities Classes will be held in our newly renovated Executive classrooms in Hato Rey. The comfortable learning environment and convenient location are well-suited for busy executives. For information to help you decide whether an MBA is right for you, click here.
