AT&T Technology Center

…where high-tech and high-touch merge to produce better business decisions

"The state-of-the-art facility, equipment, and software along with the
very knowledgeable staff enabled us to complete a complex task much more
efficiently and thoroughly than we could have on our own. All
participants were impressed!"

The UNO AT&T Technology Center uses collaborative computing and immersive virtual reality in its executive meeting space to help the best decision makers make better decisions.

The Center includes three conference rooms with projection, network and computing equipment that can be configured as needed and an immersive virtual reality room (CAVE) boasting three full size projections that immerse the viewer.

Collaboration software allows meeting participants to brainstorm ideas or potential solutions on a computer where the ideas are captured and used by the group in subsequent decision processes. For example a group may choose to organize the ideas into the primary themes that emerge and then vote to prioritize the themes for action. All supported by the software - the group walks out of the facility with printed and electronic records of the meeting and a plan for action.

The Center can draw upon the College's renowned faculty for consultation depending on client needs.
