Background:

Joined UNO faculty in 1984. Served on faculty of University of Nebraska-Lincoln for 11 years. She received a “Teacher of the Year Award” from UNO’s College of Business Administration in May, 2002. She received the Lifetime Achievement in Accounting Education Award from the Society of Louisiana CPAs in 1995 and was named "favorite professor" by UNO alumni in 1998. She was the first woman to serve on Board of Directors of Nebraska Society of CPAs, for which she received two leadership awards in 1980. Member, American Accounting Association, American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Society of Louisiana CPAs, Nebraska Society of CPAs, and the Institute of Internal Auditors. Publications have appeared in The Journal of Accountancy, Auditing: A Journal of Practice and Theory, The CPA Journal, Management Accounting, Internal Auditor, The Louisiana CPA, The Nebraska CPA Magazine, and The Michigan CPA. Books include GAAS and SSARS: Outlines and Flowcharts and Micro, Inc.: A Computerized Audit Practice Case.
